To fellow Mommy-milis, mark these dates if you want to save on your grocery shopping next month. The Department of Trade and Industry or DTI will hold 5 Diskwento Caravans in Metro Manila in November.
You can get discounts of at least 10% and as much as 50% on food items like canned goods, noodles, rice, juice, coffee, milk, and processed meats and other products like detergent, laundry and bath soap from participating manufacturers.
The Diskwento Caravan was launched in 2008 to give consumers relief from rising prices. It’s usually held in city halls so it’s more accessible to the public.

As the holiday season nears, expect prices to go up so it’s best to take advantage of the caravan.
The DTI will also hold a Diswkento Caravan Noche Buena edition, where mostly Noche Buena products will be sold. For Metro Manila, this will be onNovember 20 and 21 at the DTI head office in Makati City.
