Traffic advisory #2: Closed roads for the Papal Visit

Idineklara nang holiday sa NCR sa January 15 (Thursday), 16 (Friday), at 19 (Monday). Suspendido na rin ang number coding.

Take note of the following road closures:

January 14, Wednesday, 1 pm to January 15, Monday, 10 am

These roads surrounding the Apostolic Nunciature in Taft Avenue will be closed:

ROADCLOSE TO DAGOHOY

– From the corner of Taft Avenue and Quirino,
– Leon Guinto to Dagohoy

Bawal din mag-park ang mga sasakyan sa gilid ng kalsada sa stretch ng Roxas Boulevard ; may ilalagay rin na “No Parking” signs sa service road nito.

January 15, Thursday- Pope’s arrival

These roads will be closed but will be opened again when Pope Francis reaches the Apostolic Nunciature:

3:00 pm– The motorcade route will be closed to the public.

Below is the Papal motorcade route from Villamor Airbase to the Apostolic Nunciature in Taft Avenue, Manila:

3. Domestic Road/NAIA Road
4. Roxas Boulevard

6. some parts of Taft Avenue

For those coming from Taft:

January 16, Friday- Malacanang, Manila Cathedral and Mall of Asia Arena

These roads will be closed but will be opened again after the events are over and Pope Francis has left the vicinity:

LRT Schedule

– LRT trains will still be operational, but will not stop at Quirino Station.
– January 17, Saturday- Quirino Station will be open from 9am to 5pm
– January 18, Sunday- Limited operations on Quirino Station
– January 19, Monday- Will resume normal operation from 9 am onwards
