Good news po mula sa PhilHealth! 

Ipapatupad na ng PHILHEALTH bago matapos ang taon ang “Tamang Serbisyo sa Kalusugan ng Pamilya” o mas kilala bilang TSEKAP. Ibig sabihin, maging mga gamot at out-patient laboratory services ay libre na dahil covered na ng Philhealth.

Yun nga lang, limitado muna ang programa sa 10 sumusunod na mga sakit:
– UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)
– Asthma
– Acute Gastro-Entritis
– Pnuemonia
– Upper Respiratory Tract Infection
– Diabetes
– Hypertension
– Dyslipidemia
– Ischema Heart Diseases
– Deworming

Ang mga sumusunod naman ang ilan sa mga libreng diagnostic exams:
– Creatinine
– Risk Profiling for Hypertension and Diabetes
– Blood Glucose monitoring (through blood glucose meters)
– Medical Consultations
– Regular Blood Pressure and Body Measurement
– Periodic Clinical Breast Exam
– Urinalysis
– Stool Exam
– Chest X-Ray
– Sputum Microscopy
– Lipid Profile
– Fasting Blood Sugar
– Electrocardiogram Cervical Cancer Screening
– Digital Rectal Examination
– Complete Blood Count

Kung noo’y Rural Health Units lang at LGUs ang may access sa mga gamot, sa pamamagitan ng TSEKAP, puwede na rin itong mabili sa accredited drugstores o accredited clinics ng PhilHealth.

Kaya mula P600 noon, P1,800 na ngayon kada pamilya ang budget ng PhilHealth.

Sa long-term, gusto ng Philhealth na maipatupad ito sa lahat ng mga miyembro.

Pero sa ngayon, para muna ito sa indigents at sponsored members (miyembro na ang nagbabayad ng kontribusyon ay gobyerno o private corp/individuals), at kanilang dependents.
